2005 Gondoliers

		Once upon a time, there were two carefree Gondolieri - they sang frequently (and generally in tune) but decided that they should settle down - after letting fate decide their future brides Chris Leach and Georgia
And, as happens only in musical theatre they ended up briefly happy - "Just the very girl I wanted" Lindsay and Marion
		However, events were soon complicated by the arrival of firstly, a duke, his duchess, their daughter and private drum come to find the prospective King of Barataria and resolved to "never never never go to sea again" Laurence, Derek, Jennifer and Angela
And then a grand inquisitor who "stole the prince and carried him here" but needed some assistance to find him Chris Whelan
		much to the consternation of private drum and potential Queen "Ah well beloved" Laurence and Jennifer

And the complications are just beginning!

The reviews for the 2005 show were good (the singing was given top marks) and the audiences were appreciative;
now the planning starts for next year.
